Our few days at Ettalong Beach was pretty darn good. The caravan park which was some 400 metres from the beach was one of the best we have ever seen and stayed in. Mostly permanent cabins that were immaculately kept in well maintained streets and there was about 22 powered sites, each having plenty of shade, a concrete pad etc. The ammenties block was right behind us. Truely a fantastic park.
We toured the area as it is an area we had not been to. Saw all the sites and got the car serviced. The water frontages here are just magnificent.
We had a great lunch at the fish market on the waterfront with fish pieces and chips for us both for $8 and we couldn't eat it all.
It is a beautiful area with amazing waterways and beaches.
We head on up to Newcastle from here to visit Sandy's relatives.
